Goodwill helps change lives through the power of work by providing job training and employment services to individuals facing difficult challenges getting or keeping a job.
Application Process effective November 9, 2009
Due to the high volume of applications Goodwill Industries and Mississippi Goodworks, Inc. will only accept applications when we have open positions, unless you have a disability. We will continue receiving applications for our Federal Contracts which require employees that have disabling conditions and barriers to employment in order to assist the applicant with their medical documentation and outside referrals, if needed. The disabled applicants will be put on a hold list once they have been approved for entry in the Federal Contract Department and offered positions as they become available.
All job openings will be reported to the State WIN Centers. Therefore, applicants must register with the State WIN Centers and be referred for those job openings prior to coming into our company with their completed applications.
In addition, we will no longer accept calls in regard to your application status. If your application has been submitted and your application is considered for an interview, you will be notified by the appropriate worksite manager.
Page (1) of the application should be completed on a voluntary basis only. It will assist you with understanding our programs and employment opportunities in addition to assisting the company with identifying which program for which you may qualify.
It is highly important that you complete the entire application including dates of employment. If you have a resume please attach it in lieu of completing page 3 of the application. Incomplete applications will not be considered for employment. If you need assistance with the completion of your application you must make a pre-scheduled appointment with the HR Department by calling 228-863-2323.
Thank you,
HR Department
