Goodwill South Mississippi is excited to announce the launch of its first-ever Community Creator Program, a new initiative designed to connect with local content creators who are passionate about thrifting, community involvement, and sharing positive stories from across the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
The program will select three creators from within Goodwill South Mississippi's six-county service area to serve a one-year term as official Goodwill South Mississippi Community Creators. Throughout the year, creators will help showcase the Goodwill experience through engaging social media content while highlighting the impact donations and shopping have on our mission.
"We know people connect with authentic experiences and recommendations from members of their own community," said Katie Myers, Marketing Manager for Goodwill South Mississippi. "This program gives local creators the opportunity to share their favorite finds, behind-the-scenes moments, and the positive impact Goodwill has throughout South Mississippi."
Selected creators will receive a variety of exclusive perks, including monthly private after-hours shopping events, a $100 shopping credit during each event, behind-the-scenes access, invitations to special events and grand openings, social media features, a welcome swag bag, and direct access to the Goodwill South Mississippi Marketing Team for collaboration opportunities.
Beyond the thrill of thrifting, creators will also have the opportunity to learn more about Goodwill's mission of helping individuals overcome barriers to employment through job training, workforce development programs, career services, and community partnerships.
Goodwill South Mississippi hopes the program will help introduce new audiences to the organization while showcasing the many ways Goodwill serves local communities across the Gulf Coast.

Applicants must reside within Goodwill South Mississippi's six-county service area and maintain an active social media presence. Creators will be selected based on content quality, creativity, engagement, consistency, and overall fit with the Goodwill South Mississippi brand.
