Goodwill South Mississippi Launches “Goodwill for Good Paws” Donation Drive to Support Humane Society of South Mississippi

November 2025 - Goodwill Industries of South Mississippi is proud to announce the launch of its “Goodwill for Good Paws” Donation Drive, a holiday community initiative supporting the Humane Society of South Mississippi (HSSM).

From November 24 through December 6, all Goodwill South Mississippi retail locations will serve as drop-off points for new, unopened pet supplies, making it convenient for dog-loving shoppers who want to help local shelter pets this holiday season. Donations will be collected at each store and delivered directly to the Humane Society by Goodwill.

Goodwill South Mississippi already donates blankets and towels to the Humane Society throughout the year, and this seasonal initiative offers an extra way to give back and help even more pets in need.

Shoppers who donate items such as pet food, treats, toys, blankets, puppy pads, and cleaning supplies will receive a 20% off coupon toward their total purchase of both donated and new items in-store.

Clearly marked donation bins are located near the registers at each Goodwill South Mississippi store. Team members will distribute coupons to shoppers upon receiving qualifying donations.

Suggested donation items include:

• Dry and wet dog or cat food

• Treats and toys

• Blankets, towels, and pet bedding

• Puppy pads

• Cat litter

• Leashes, collars, bowls

• Cleaning supplies such as bleach, detergent, and disinfectant wipes

  
  

All collected supplies will go directly to the pets and staff at the Humane Society of South Mississippi, helping support the thousands of animals they care for each year.
